Even though the calendar says that winter doesn’t arrive for another 10 days, we are well entrenched in it here in New England.

I was most intrigued when I first saw this beautiful hotel on TV this past winter.
The whole building and everything in it is completely made of ice - the tables, chairs, beds, sculptures, walls, and even the chandeliers.
The one pictured above was built in Sweden, and they started building it in mid November.

We had a new visitor to our feeder today - a Red Bellied Woodpecker.
