The lake water has been pretty chilly these last couple of weeks.
In fact, the only other person we have seen in the water has been a youngster that ran in and then right out again.
We are still taking our daily swim though, and are still loving every minute of it.

We swim every night at this lake - most times we have it to ourselves.
The families have left, the boats are docked, and the place is all ours.
But these past few days have seen temps over 100 degrees.

We have been back to swimming in the lake for about two weeks now.
And the season so far has been grand for it.
Most evenings we have the entire swim area to ourselves, and it couldn’t be more serene.
No boats out during the weekdays to make any waves.
No splashing and screaming from other swimmers.

They are all shes - all the names on these boats are female.
I heard a question asked on a TV show as to why this was, but no one seemed to have any definitive answers.
