Yellowstone National Park has a supervolcano with a caldera that measures 25 miles by 37 miles.
This caldera (the top or crater of the volcano) has been watched for many years - if the volcano were to erupt, this would be the area that the hot magma would spew from.

We received a card from a friend who visited many of the National Parks out in the west over this past year.
One of the places she visited was in Wyoming, and it is the Guernsey State Park.
This particular park contains a National Historic Landmark that I had never heard of before.
