I think I have read about this some months ago but did not pay much attention to it. It is interesting to know what it can do. I am sure it will be relaxing to have a lamp like that in the house especially with the negative ions being produced.

I have a salt rock crystal lamp - they are very good! Salt rock crystals are the old-fashioned way of changing the ions in the atmosphere from positive to negative. This means that all of the dust and pollen fall to the ground making the air in the room healthier to breathe. It is also alleged that if you keep one near to a computer - it will help to diminish any detrimental effects the computer may have on your health. I am not sure whether the Himalayan variety are the same - but I should imagine so.

I’ve seen these all over, like in stores, shoe shops, etc. I don’t have one but I think it would be neat to do so. I didn’t know about the humid weather problem though. Interesting post!
